... and the Day, but one -

Yet the light of a whole world dies, with the dying sun.

The Mind has a Thousand eyes ...

... and the Heart, but one -

Yet the light of a whole life dies, when love is done.

Please --
This was my Great Aunt's favorite poem ---

Could anyone please tell me who the author is??

Thank you!!!

Thank you for your reply! One more question, please... How can I find this author in "Poetry Archives"? I appreciate your info; now I would like to be able to find the information on my own...

... but I have used every derivation of "F. W. Bourdillon"; to no avail!!

Can you help? Whether or not you're able to help now; I sincerely appreciate your reply to my original question.

Sincerely, Sue
