Could anyone tell me who the prominent Russian Writers were during the reign of Romanov Tsar Nicholas II?
What is the story behind the background of the musical 'The Sound of Music?"
What was the wedding gift Prince Charles gave to former Princess Diana?

Why should we take time to answer such questions on a Poetry site?
Stephen
Stephen, remember the story about the the man who goes into confession and says to the priest: "Last night I had sex with three women." The priest wonders why someone who is, to judge by his voice, elderly and Jewish, is in confession. He says, "Are you one of my parishioners?" The man says no. "Are you Jewish?" The man says yes. The priest says, "Why are you telling me this?" The man says, "I'm telling everybody."
That doesnt' explain why we should ANSWER the questions for someone cramming for Jeopardy, but it probably explains why she's asking.

Donna-Raye:
1. Tsar Nicholas II was a great fan and patron of Zane Gray and Booth Tarkington.
2. The Sound of Music is based on the life story of Helen Keller.
3. Charles gave Diana a kidney transplant. (Not his own kidney, mind you.)
4. Trust nothing. Trust no one.

I'm sorry to disagree, but I believe you misspoke.
The Tzar was an avid devotee of Booth Tarkington's wife, Fran.
Hope that clears up any confusion.

Ilza, of course, is "right" -- that is, if accuracy means anything.

These are the chances you take with initials for a signature. Pity poor Fran Tarkington.
Jack
JP is a "she" and Fran Tarkington is a "he" ...
Blimey, this poetry business is tricky!
