There is a poetry contest advertisement in one of the coupon supplements to this week's Sunday newspapers, at least here in the New York/New Jersey area. It's not clear who is running the contest since all entries must be mailed in hard copy to the following address:

The only other information provided that might give a hint to the organization behind the ad is a blue ribbon icon. The words, "Reader's Choice" appear on the inside top of the ribbon and the word, "Ranked" on the inside bottom.

There's apparently no entry fee required (at least the ad doesn't mention a fee) and it claims to have $100,000. in prizes, most of which, "will be awarded to new and unpublished poets, many of whom have never entered a poetry competition before." The ad also promises that all entries will receive a personal critique.

I'm wondering if anybody has heard of, or had experience with, this organization/contest before. Is it legitimate or just another money-making scheme?
