My new film, "Stanley's House" about the Worcester poetry of Stanley Kunitz, his family, boyhood home, neighborhood and search for his father is now available. This is the same house that I grew up in some thirty-years after Stanley. The film interweaves the intimate story of Stanley's family in Worcester with that of my personal family history.
More information available at [www.documentaryworld.com]. There is an 8-minute trailer available there and on YouTube. In the DVD, Stanley reads:"Halley's Comet", "My Mother's Pears", "The Portrait", "Three Floors", "The Testing Tree", "The Magic Curtain", "My Sisters" and "An Old Cracked Tune".
"Stanley's House" also includes exclusive footage of Stanley reading at age 100, four-days before he died.
