What a riot and a possible hoax. Lots of money behind this, it seems.

Not a hoax - Dennis has been writing poetry since a bad illness a few years ago, when he was hospitalized and denied a phone, computer etc. He says he nicked bits of paper and pencils and started writing, then become obsessed. He also had a series of free poetry readings with complimentary glasses of red wine a few years ago - sadly I couldn't get to the one near me - he's very wealthy and so could publicise his work that way. Don't know how much he sells but he has some books in print. I like quite a lot of his poetry.

I purchased Felix Dennis' book, A Glass Half Full - The Bearded Dwarf (I paid 64 cents for it - I don't think he needs the money. but still...). He has a new fan. It's a shame his work came out right after 9-11-2001. Bad timing.

I'm glad you found the book and liked it - I like about half of his poems that I've come across - I don't know if he is still writing or whether it was a temporary phase he has now passed through.
