do you post poetry here just for folks to read? i saw where it can be critiqued. but i don't want that. i'm hard enough on myself, why make it worse? lol.
Sporty, my suggestion would be to post your poem with a message to the moderator to "close this thread". That would prevent others from posting below your poem.

sporty, i wouldn't worry so much....mostly people comment about what they like, or just don't say anything.
like anyone would listen if we did criticize anyway, who are we to judge?
take Les' suggestion though if you're still concerned, any new posters are always welcome.
i guess i blew it! what i meant to say was where can i post here, but still allow people to comment on it. i like comments, just not specifically to be critiqued. i clicked on the critique section here, but i don't need that and i didn't see a place to post poems. thankx
