need help finding theme/paraphrasing 'How do I love thee?'

I'm trying to write an essay on Sonnet XLIII (How do I love thee?) by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Any info on the themes, formatting, sound, style, context and paraphrasing on this poem for my essay would be soooooo much help!

well, browning was married to robert browning, who 'rescued' her from her sickly life, she was almost dying...true romantic story of sorts, he whisked her away to a new life. i think the poem takes on a massive double ententdre when you read the poem keeping in mind that she's probably adressing her husband. potent.

I say, start by COUNTING the ways:

1. depth

2. breadth

3. height

etc.

It may seem obvious, but hardly anybody DOES IT!
