I know that some of us, Hugh for one, admire the work of this poet, who lived from 1912 to 1976. One of his poems was 'St Aubin d'Aubigne'written 1 August 1944, and you might like to get hold of an article about the poet and this poem, by his cousin Monica Wilson, in the October 2005 issue of 'The Oldie' (an English magazine for those of us getting on in years). I have scanned it in to my machine if anyone wants me to email them a copy.
You'll find the poem itself in The Oxford Book of War Poetry.

Stephen

I have a book by him. I haven't read it all, but he sure is interesting.

Is this the same Paul Dehn, who wrote the screenplay for Planet of the Apes?

Yes, it is. An interesting character, and one of my favourite poets.
