Sending replies via email

Is this feature working in the resurrected Emule? It used to work fine before.

I have been checking the box for it in all my recent posts, but so far the posts that have followed mine have not been copied to me by email from Emule.

Maybe the emails from Emule are being blocked now by the spam filter which my ISP introduced a few months ago. That filter has resulted in a dramatic reduction in spam, which is welcome, but unfortunately the ISP doesn't provide a list of what has been blocked for checking. I could try requesting the ISP not to block emails from Emule. The trouble is I don't know what constant marker there is now in such emails for the ISP to refer to for the purpose of creating a message rule to let them through.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Can a moderator suggest a solution?

Ian

Naw, I tried to send you a test msg, but it failed. Null function for the moment.

Your email is Hidden, but the PM function is different, localized here.

So many items on the todo list. Rudy is painfully slow these days and has largely taken it upon himself to do as little as possible. That said, it'll eventually work again but I can't give any ETA. Rudy is content to do the minimum possible.

Truth be told, I am moving some of my other projects to another ISP for a short period until we have time to fix the box.

Bump. Because this useful feature, which started to work again about 6 weeks ago, and seemed reliable for a while, is now erratic in its working. Works sometimes. Not other times. Any reason it would help to know about?

I meant the feature of an automatic email notification of a new post in a followed thread. (I have ticked the 'Send replies to me ...' box).

I had to use a friend's email address
due to all the past difficulties here at emule.
I couldn't get my old name back
so I had to go with the new one, but emule wouldn't take my own email address . . .

thus it's not my address . . .
is there any way to get my old name and address back?

Lisa
